You've may have read a diet for six pack abs which is so complicated and difficult to follow that you didn't even consider trying it. The reality is, it doesn't have to be difficult. You can eat decent food and get ripped abs without starving yourself.
I'll explain a diet for six pack abs that works by burning fat so your abs will reveal themselves. When you combine this type of diet with abdominal exercises, you can achieve that ripped stomach look quickly and effectively.
1. Eat protein foods and vegetables.
Lean protein and veggies don't promote added fat storage like other foods such as high sugar or heavy flour based carbohydrate foods. Protein combined with vegetables get you in that fat burning zone where your body will end up burning fat more efficiently and more often.
2. Each meal you want to pick one form of lean protein, and one (or two) sources of vegetables (mixed vegetables are fine also).
No bread, no smoothies, no pastas; all of which are carbohydrates notorious for raising insulin and putting fat on you, which will only prevent you from getting your ripped abs. If you want solid, quick results, just go with protein and veggies.
Here's an example:
Breakfast: Eggs with veggies (3-4 egg whites with one yolk, plus your favorite veggies added in: broccoli, spinach, onions, green peppers, are all common choices.)
Lunch: Tuna or chicken salad. Either tuna with little to no mayo, or else grilled chicken strips (not fried) on a bed of greens, with vegetables of your choice.
Dinner: Grilled chicken breast or another lean meat choice (lean steak for example is fine) with vegetables.
3. Don't be afraid to pile on the vegetables!
You can get away with eating a lot of veggies with this type of diet plan. They will fill you up without putting on added fat.
